Benjamin Premack, JD, MIA
Benjamin Premack is an Associate Attorney managing the Washington Branch of the Premack Law Office. His practice encompasses environmental law, business law and elder law. He counsels on areas of inheritance, trusts, probate, health care, and community building. He is adept at combining business and estate planning law to serve unique purposes when each, individually, does not suffice. He offers outside general legal counsel to entrepreneurs and growing businesses in emerging economic sectors and multimillion dollar established businesses. His practice includes incorporation matters, legal advice on the formation of LLCs and other types of entities, and business law matters such as environmental law, intellectual property, employment and independent contracting, commercial contracts, mergers, acquisitions, and business restructuring. Benjamin is experienced in estate planning for individuals, couples and families of all ages, families in non-traditional relationship structures, probate to assist surviving heirs when a family member dies, and elder law to assist clients with specific legal challenges.
Benjamin has provided mediation services to his community for over a decade. He believes that business dispute resolution should not require the high emotional and financial costs of litigation. Instead, clients should be able to resolve their conflict and achieve a mutually-agreeable commercial solution so they can focus on the future.
Benjamin is licensed to practice law in Washington State and in Colorado. He is a graduate of The Penn State Dickinson School of Law with a Juris Doctor and The Penn State School of International Affairs with a Master of International Affairs.
During his time at Penn State, he helped propel the Penn State International Affairs Review into the spotlight as a new forum for student-run peer-reviewed academic publication. He was the only law student invited by the Folke Bernadotte Academy, the Swedish Agency for Peace, Security and Development, to present a paper at their annual workshop in Stockholm, Sweden. Mr. Premack also played an integral role in the establishment of the Work Programme on Loss and Damage at the Secretariat of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, a multinational effort to adapt to the stresses and mitigate the negative impacts of climate change.Visit AVVO for additional information
